NPR and Local Stations "GetActive" About Online Communication

GetActive Software Offers Local NPR Stations New Ways to Reach Listeners

Berkeley, CA -- February 26, 2003 - NPR® (National Public Radio®) and GetActive Software announced today the launch of a new, Web-based suite of e-marketing capabilities that will boost NPR's service both to its member stations and to listeners by providing local stations access to personalized e-marketing and e-membership functionalities. NPR will use GetActive's content management, communications, and online member management services to communicate with member stations and produce e-newsletters. GetActive also offers stations a range of tools for online fundraising.

NPR chose GetActive Software because it offers a broad array of online communication services that can be tailored to the diverse needs of both NPR and NPR member stations. Member stations that elect to use the GetActive Suite will have access to the full complement of GetActive services for publishing e-newsletters and targeted fundraising and program-related messages.
