Beginning today, NPR Music offers advance streams of new albums from Bruce Springsteen, Cee Lo Green, Salome, and a tribute to Os Mutantes. All of the recordings are available for free, on-demand listening at www.npr.org/musicas part of the site's "First Listen" series.

Bruce Springsteen: NPR streams 15 of its favorite tracks from the Boss' new two-CD set The Promise. The collection includes 21 never-before-heard tracks, and is being released in conjunction with a reissue of his 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town. Cee Lo Green: Riding high on the success of "F--- You," the artist is about to release his much-anticipated new solo album. Salome: Known for having one of the most powerful lead vocalists in the scene, the "doom metal" rockers in Salome are about to release a new album called Terminal. Os Mutantes Tribute: The legendary Brazillian psychedelic musicians are celebrated by Latin and world-music performers, including Aterciopelados, Café Tacuba, and others.
