JANUARY 25, 2012 AT 7:30 PM
FREE TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW!
Presented by WMFE 90.7 and Tiger Bay Club of Central Florida, the "Political Junkie Road Show" features all of the segments familiar to its radio audience and some surprises as well. Audience members will be treated to Rudin's unique and entertaining take on Florida's political history. They'll also be invited to participate in the Scuttle Button puzzle, a trivia quiz, and a vote for the most cringe-worthy debate bloopers in modern history.
The show will also feature in-person reflections from newsmakers such as Rep. Allen West (R-Fla) and Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla) on the power of politics to fulfill the expectations of its electorate. And for further insight on how exactly a candidate can win a "country" like Florida, Conan and Rudin defer to a journalist panel representative of the state's three distinct regions, including Lucy Morgan of the Tampa Bay Times, the Miami Herald's Sergio Bustos, and WMFE news director, Mark Simpson. The show promises a steady mix of politics, brain busters, and of course, fun.
Tickets for this one-night-only event are FREE and available for reserve now through the WMFE 90.7 homepage.
