Select NPR Audio Content Now Available
To Yahoo! News Users
Washington, D.C. and Santa Clara, Calif. - Oct. 26, 1998 - Through an agreement with global Internet media company Yahoo! Inc., select audio content from National Public Radio® (NPR®) is now available on Yahoo! News. Yahoo! News users browsing the headlines and information at http://dailynews.yahoo.com can now hear the day's top stories, as well as world, political and business stories, provided by NPR. According to Media Metrix, Yahoo! News is ranked the No. 1 news site in reach among home users (September 1998).
With this agreement, Yahoo! News features audio content from NPR's award-winning, flagship newsmagazines Morning Edition® and All Things Considered®. Starting in November, NPR will also host several chats each month on Yahoo! Chat (http://chat.yahoo.com). Chat guests will include NPR hosts and correspondents, as well as noteworthy newsmakers.

This latest addition to Yahoo! News can be found under the "Audio News" area within the Yahoo! News site. To access NPR's audio content, Yahoo! News users need only download Real Networks® Player.
