NPR Foundation

The NPR Foundation, established in 1992, enhances current and long-term financial support for NPR, in support of NPR's mission to create a more informed public. In addition to securing direct support for NPR and managing the assets of the Foundation, it actively works to strengthen and expand the fundraising success of NPR's member Stations and supports nationwide recognition and celebration of the generous donors dedicated to public media.

The business and affairs of the NPR Foundation are managed by a 60-member Board of Trustees, comprised of NPR supporters from across the nation. Led by Chairman Antoine van Agtmael, the NPR Foundation secures, through excellent stewardship of its endowment, a strong and stable future for NPR.
