December 9, 2008 Throw Me the Statue began as Scott Reitherman's one-man act in Seattle, Wash., but has since grown into a solid five-piece band that specializes in electro-pop playfulness. Moonbeams, the debut album from the group, is a collection of catchy, upbeat indie pop with enough experimental twists and turns to keep it interesting.
