On my way to work today, I stopped for a little bit of show and tell.
My commute is longer than usual today: I'm going to New Orleans for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. WBGO's Josh Jackson will be there too: together, we'll be photographing, interviewing, seafood-eating and blogging our way through the first weekend of festivities. He's been using stuff like mine for much longer than I have; plus, he's also from New Orleans.
Check this site for updates starting in earnest on the festival's first day on Friday. And thanks, too, to my Washington, D.C. neighbors for getting rid of that framed Michalopoulos poster. Came in handy this morning.
UPDATE: The New Orleans airport is named after Louis Armstrong. It's 75 degrees and sunny. I love it here already.
