How did you get here today?
Kayaking.
From Portsmouth?
It’s just near King’s Park.
Oh, so not very far. Does Colby always come with you?
I take her windsurfing, on the sailboat. She goes wherever I go.
Do you think she likes jazz?
Well, my sons are in a band, so she’s used to listening to music all the time.
Then who’s the bigger jazz fan: you or the dog?
The dog.
You’re just out here for the sunshine, the water, and the camaraderie.
Yes, there are a lot of friends out here. We have a good time. I wish Colby wasn’t wet. She looks better when she’s not wet.
