Greetings from Austin

Bob and I arrived in Austin, TX today for NPR Music's complete South by Southwest coverage. We've got a lot planned. For now, here's what you can count on:

Live concert broadcasts and webcasts of: R.E.M., Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer, Bon Iver, Yo La Tengo, My Morning Jacket, the Shout Out Louds and a whole lot more. See a complete listing and times here.

We'll post interviews with a lot of the bands, including Jens Lekman, the Whigs and the Shout Out Louds.

We'll also have a special video performance by Lightspeed Champion. We hope to have other video performances with She and Him (the new project with M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel), Kimya Dawson and some others we're working on and hope to tell you about soon.

And, of course, we'll be blogging throughout each day this week, with additional posts from NPR's Stephen Thompson and Neda Ulaby and Carrie Brownstein, Monitor Mix blogger and former guitarist for Sleater-Kinney.

I'm already exhausted! It should be quite a week with loads of amazing music, so check back often.
