Who Should Play NPR's SXSW Party In 2010?

This year's South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival is just a few months away (it runs from March 17 to March 21 in Austin, Texas), and we're looking for new and exciting bands to play the NPR Music party. You can hear and see artists from our past SXSW lineups by clicking here.

All of us at NPR Music have been pitching our ideas to one another. On our current episode of All Songs Considered, we're featuring one of the bands NPR Music producer Lars Gotrich is loving right now — a group from Los Angeles called Local Natives — along with a band All Songs Considered producer Robin Hilton recently discovered called Freelance Whales.

We'd love to know what you think. What bands and artists are you loving right now? Who would you love to see and hear on NPR's SXSW stages this year? Tell us in the comments section below.
