For many at SXSW — especially those without the much-coveted laminates that gets you into all the shows — getting in line early to get into a showcase or daytime party is a big part of the experience. Such is the case with many of the diehard music fans who were waiting outside The Parish on Thursday morning to see NPR Music's day party line up of Brooklyn Rider, Smith Westerns, Local Natives, G-Side, Surfer Blood and Sleigh Bells.
With a growing and anxious crowd gathering outside, Bob Boilen took to the streets to find out which bands this devoted crowd was most excited to see at SXSW.
