The Year's Most Baffling Top Albums List

Talk in the NPR Music office this morning focused on Andrew Kuo's eye-crossing graphic illustration of his Top 5 albums of 2010. Kuo, the obsessively analytical artist and chart maker whose work often appears in The New York Times, has put together a dizzying, color-coded grid that shows... something.  A number of us spent a little time with it, scratching our heads and tossing around theories.  We think we finally got it, but why don't you give it a look and see what you think.
