Perhaps the most buzzed-about feature of Radiohead's new single "Lotus Flower" was the video featuring ringleader Thom Yorke's interpretive dance moves. And, as Interweb rats do, folks spent the weekend mashing up Yorke's spazz-grooves to a variety of ditties and circumstances.
Before we dive into the bouquet of remixes, let's refresh with the original video. Keep in mind that Yorke's moves aren't as spontaneous as they appear. In fact, the entire jig was mapped-out before by he award-winning British choreographer Wayne McGregor.
And of course, we at NPR Music had some favorites, including Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and Hall and Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True."
However, perhaps the mostly timely fusion incorporates December's mind-melting Black Swan. Yorke appears in an audition before the unimpressed ballet company director and lets the piano take over.
Can you name any other killer "Lotus Flower" video mash-up?
