In today's All Tech Considered segment, women in fantasy football leagues are discussed, as are these other tech topics:
- The NFL is compromising on its long-standing practice of blacking out games in markets where games haven't sold out. It will tape-delay games at NFL.com for free in those markets. The catch is that there will be an 8-to-11 hour delay before the games can be watched.
- Apple introduced an interesting new feature on its iPod Nano last week: FM radio that can be paused for up to 15 minutes. The future is now!
- Meanwhile, other MP3 players have had FM tuners built-in for years. And the new Zune HD will offer HD Radio. (But no recording/pausing that we know of for that format.)
- Courtney Love is very unhappy about Kurt Cobain's likeness being used in Activision's Guitar Hero 5 to sing songs other than those from Nirvana's catalog. But where is the outrage over multiple Johnny Cash avatars singing Public Enemy?
