Over the last couple of days, we've been telling you about an amazing trip we took last November. For two weeks we traveled throughout Colombia with the crew of PBS's Music Voyager, going from city to city, town to town, getting to know more about music we've always loved.

All journeys come to an end, and today we present the last installment of our Colombia diaries. One of the things I appreciated most on this trip is that we spoke to some big-time superstars (check out today's interview with Juanes) but we also had the good fortune to fall in love with lesser-known bands. Case in point: Puerto Candelaria, an up and coming band from Medellin, whose unique brand of cumbia with magical realist lyrics left us as dazzled as we were that distant afternoon our father took us to see ice (Gabriel Garcia Marquez fans stand up!)

One of our final interviews left us quite speechless. On a rainy evening in Barranquilla, we headed over to the public library and met up with legendary salsa singer Joe Arroyo. Not only did he talk to us about his love for all Colombian music, he performed the classic "En Barranquilla Me Quedo" ("I'll Stay In Barranquilla") for us.

Talk about ending our trip on a high note.
