Now that I have your attention. Would you know what to do if someone suddenly gave you 2,500 bucks? With graduation and wedding season here, some people could find themselves a bit flush in the coming months. I spoke with the Wall Street Journal.com's Emily Meehan who did a little research about how to best invest a sudden windfall.

Why would anyone in their 20s get $2,500 back in tax returns? Anyone who does that should readjust their tax withholdings so that they get more money each pay check to do what they want with it -- including investing. Who would want to loan their money to the government (unless it was a bond)?

Some good ideas here; however, there was something glossed briefly over that would be a whole other series of talks...and that would be the debt hole Gen X and Y are digging themselves into. There are few who fall into the 20s group who _don't_ have significant debt that should probably be kicked out before getting all crazy with the cheez-whiz and the stock purchase plans.

But when you get past that...yes! Good stuff.

I like the black and white photograph you have accompanying this piece's intro, and it makes me think that still photo essays/series would be outstanding additions to certain podcasts.
