We talked about a boatload of stories and potential segments in this morning's meeting, all in preparation for shows tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. We won't go into too much detail now, lest we spoil the (theoretically) riveting radio to come. But here's a taste of what's on our radar...
— President Bush made a surprise visit to Iraq. Aside from covering this news, we're really curious about the logistics of these surprise visits. We want to talk to a reporter who traveled on Air Force One to find out how this all goes down.
— AT&T has introduced new parental controls for cell phones. And the next generation iPods are due tomorrow. As former White House chief of staff Andrew Card told the New York Times while discussing Iraq back in 2002, "From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August." So what other goodies are in the pipeline for September?
— Neil Hamburger is coming to town. We want to book him.
— Where in the world is Condi Rice?
— Plus: New music, TV shows, and movies, Fred Thompson latest, Football kicks off, Fashion Week in Bryant Park, and so much more. Time to get prepping!
