Hot-tipper and girlfriend (full disclosure) Vanessa sent along this excellent interview from Vice Magazine. It's a Q & A with Jack Passion, the 23-year-old man who recently won Best Beard at The World Beard and Moustache Championship.
The best part of the interview is Passion's answer to why he grew the beard so long:
The beard came in so huge and fast and ginger, that I had no choice but to rock it.
And rock it he did. We salute you Mr. Passion. You and the rest of The Beard Team USA. (Of course they have a blog.)
