Eating for the Adventurous

Tim Cameron, British musician and freelance journalist has always had a taste for foods that some might consider a little "unusual." Earlier this month, he wrote an article about the six foods that were almost too much even for him to stomach. Tim took some time to fill us in on the edibles that push the limits of palatability.

A note of caution: Images of these foods can be DISTURBING to some. Don't click below if your gross-out tolerance isn't high.

I've actually heard about this Sardinian cheese before. There is a strong possibility of the larvae, upon being eaten, setting up shop in your lower intestine and breeding there. This culinary grotesque also goes by the name of 'weeping cheese' since when squeezed it elicits viscous, runny goo. Lovely.

That was horrifying. I ate guinea pig in Ecuador which is considered a local delicacy akin to how we esteem lobster. They call it "Cuy". Tastes like chicken.
