Ha Luke! You paid 3 pounds for the download!! Likely, if radiohead had stayed with their label, EMI records, they probably would have made about 1 to 2 USD per album. They more than tripled their contractural profit with you! :) I love the album! Hey, and don't alienate your listeners by dissing radiohead. Radiohead fans are the most plugged-in and news aware members of your target audience. And what other rock band alludes to Faust and quotes Charles Mingus... surely not Band of Horses.
I can't believe Luke's comment about Madonna. Where are NPR's standards? It's scandalous to imply that she ever didn't totally blow.
I have to hand it to the staff for addressing the "boompity boompity boomp" concerns head on.
