Listener Will Gerhardt brought the bring on Marnie Stern's "Every Single Line Means Something" yesterday.
Will G., hearts to you. And to Ms. Stern.
While the full album ''In Advance of the Broken Arm'' is exceptionally great and well worth a buy (despite possibly having the worst album artwork of all time), you can check out the song here:

Kelefa Sanneh of the NYT called the album "extraordinary" and "too joyful, and too pretty, to be considered difficult," and the Wash Post said it was "the most fascinating racket we might hear in 2007."
I gotta tell you folks, as someone who was raised there, it's "Nevaaada," not "Nevahhda." For those of you who reply, "But that's how it's pronounced in Spanish," I say, "True. And in Spanish 'Texas' is pronounced 'Teyhahs.' And 'Los Angeles' is pronounced 'Lohs Ahnheles'." So be consistent and either switch to Spanish pronunciation for all place names, or pronounce the Silver State the way those who live there do: "Nevaaada." Please!
