Hey, in the popular vote segment, Rachel said 'no one cares about Idaho'. Whachoo talkin' 'bout?! I'm a proud native Idahoan and a proud listener of the BPP. Shame on you Rachel, show your love for the 208!!!
(Hey, at least I'm not a Ron Paul supporter.)
Hey, Alex, thanks for writing. I'm sorry if you took my comments out of turn. I actually hail from the gem state--5 generations. My comments were about how Idaho is getting short shrift through the Electoral College and that is not a good thing.
But Rachel, the EC actually HELPS Idaho! It's the less populated states like Idaho that are overrepresented in the EC. Idaho has 4 electors out of 538 - that's .74%. But it has only .46% of the population. If the EC goes away, Idaho gets LESS attention!
Sorry, I get a little worked up about this for some reason.
Thanks Laura for posting the question and Steart for answering it. I've now got the cartoon credited on Flickr.
