There Will Be Bloody Marys

A long time ago, before I went to bed at 7:30 every night, I used to throw an Oscar party pot-luck. The only requirement was that the food you brought had to be based on an Oscar nomination. One of the regulars, my friend Elena, just emailed and told me she'd be making There Will Be Bloody Marys this year. I'm trying to work out a menu, but this is all I've got so far:

Atonemints
Johnny Dipp
Into the Wild Rice
Philip Seafood Hoffman
Cake Blanchett
3:10 to Yucca. Alternatively, 3:10 to Yummy.
Transfatsmers
The Diving Bell and the Butter

Can you help?

Does "Into the Wild Rice" contain any wild peas, by happen chance? I would certainly hope not.

No Bunt-ry for Old Men
A-Hot-Cross-Buns the Universe
Lars and the Vanilla Swirl

Sorry, that's all I've got. Also, I'll be the dork that just cashes in on the straight up "Ratatouille."

"Into the Wild Rice" Hey back up there a bit, buddy. McCandless, a real person, died. I dunno if the pun game is appropriate for that one.

Let me suggest a classy (very classy) replacement:

"Sweeney Cod: The Demon Barber of Fish Street"

Also, "3:10 to Yogurt" is funnier than what you got up.

Sweeney Cod (fish gumbo)
Yeastern Promises (dinner rolls)
Hal Holbrook Trout (I sense a fish theme)
Elizabeth: The Cab Age (slaw)
La Coq en Rose (coq a vin)
La stink en Rose (garlic dip)
Ribs Baby Ribs (baby back ribs)
Asparagus the Universe (marinated asparagus spears)
No Comfrey for Old Hen (herbed, roasted chicken)

Not as punny, but I think Ratatouille & "Mrs. Lovett's" Meatpies would be required (plus both are pretty easy to make).

Borscht or something with a vodka-based sauce for Eastern Promises.

Kinda random, but if you were feeling really creative: phone-shaped burgers in homage of Juno's burger-shaped phone. :p
