BPP Video Flashback: Cheeseheads in Exile

Today we had a great interview with BPP pals and hardcore Green Bay Packer fans Patrick Daley and Bonnie Wasserman. Click the listen link just above this, and you'll understand why Brett Favre's retirement isn't just a sports story--it's a human story.

This also gives us an excuse to re-post a video we did back in January in which we featured the Kettle of Fish bar in Manhattan, where Wisconsin expats gather to watch Packer games. That's where we first met Patrick and Bonnie. Enjoy...

I take offense to the Steve Young was not humble or even as handsome as Brett Favre comment by Bonnie. As a life long SF 49ers fan and gay man, Steve Young is H-O-T-T hott!

When I first heard the news I grabbed my head and yelled, "Oh... (explicative) sh#$." After a few seconds, I then said, "good for him." He certainly owes us nothing. After all those years of constantly leaving it on the field, sometimes literally. Like the time he was puking blood then threw a TD on the next play (was it against Tampa Bay?). Its likely in my lifetime there will not be another. Don Hudson was in by grandfather's time, Lombardi in my father's, we were given Favre. When John Paul II died, it felt like a landshift as a Catholic. After 17-years with Favre now retired, it feels strangely similar. Someone out there thinks I'm exaggerating with my comparison. They aren't from Wisconsin. I wish he and his family all the best moving forward. Hey, are their Lambeau Field seats open?
