The day ROFL Con began, I talked to the internet and the internet said rickrolling was over. Yet here we are. This got a huge cheer when the crowd finally pulled it off.

can someone please explain to me what rofl con is all about...do people make money or is it about creative mind stuff that uses the internet as a stage...???

Nobody is really making money off the Con itself, though the organizers did help guests with travel expenses. Really it's about getting together figures in internet culture with people who love internet culture. Like any convention, except weirder, maybe. ComiCon vs. ROFLCon would be a pretty awesome spectacle.

thank you ian...sometimes it's a challenge for someone born before 1950 to get what's happening!

The lines were a bit out of order, but I expect with the competing questions hitting that was a sweet feat of timing. Back in '87 (high school) I was told I looked like Rick, now more like Horatio on CSI Miami (queue up the Who song).
