Hey guys,
I don't know where to put this, but wanted to give you my 2 cents. I love your show, but thought your "interview" with the Smartshop owner was pretty weak. The shop owner gave you his time and answered your questions intelligently, and then Mike turns around and disses the scene with the aside ("can't call them drool-on-your-shirt" shops). Funny, it's a fun show and Mike is very spontaneous. Still, I did catch Mike's quick need to announce that he had no experience with mushrooms...ok, ok, you're drug free. Congrats. However, I know Mike is a very "smart" guy himself and so he must have secondhand literary or historical knowledge of the psychedelic experience and so probably could extrapolate as to why the shops are called "smart" (hint: shamans, rites of passage, Huxley, Castaneda, O'Leary). Anyway, I'd be happy to oversee Mike's own rocket-launch next time in Dam. I'll be there in June so drop a line.
But I'm not finished. I think it was Allison who was perplexed by the not-so-warm smiles in the Hamburg redlight district. I'm sure that it's similar to what happens to me when I'm caught fondling panties in the lingerie section: I make other customers feel uncomfortable and I ain't planning to buy.
