I am moved to ask: what's with the stinkin' badges? Is this an NPR thing? A New York thing? I've worked in a few places where we were theoretically supposed to wear them, but it typically only lasts a few weeks before the hated neckwear gets consigned to a drawer or a purse. The only way it could possibly stick is if we needed them to access coffee, but thank goodness the powers that be never thought of that.
Matt (or any of you guys) are you as crazy excited about the imminent return of Battlestar Galactica as I am?
I'm curious to see whather it'll warrant a mention in the next couple of days.
THANK YOU for the story on the Women's Final Four!
The women's game will only gain in popularity and parity when news organizations like you provide good coverage. Thanks!!!!
Oh, and by the way - the University of Connecticut women's basketball team are called the "Huskies" NOT the "lady huskies"
BPP,
MLK was assassinated 40 yrs ago. It was a major event (I should not even need to say that). On just about every NPR show it was covered at length. On some shows it is still being discussed.
What does the BPP contribute...one (nice) interview by Alison Stewart: "Forty Years Later, Standing Where MLK Was Shot."
I'm not sure what to think of BPP now. What is it about the BPP format that disallowed the inclusion of a thorough discussion (in any of the fantastically creative manners that you explore other issues)? I am more than a little disappointed.
Not even a space for posting comments on the interview...or the event...
Wow. C'mon folks. You're better than that.
(Even with music...On "Tell Me More" I heard something really interesting: Native American Hip Hop. Is something like that not "cool" enough for you)?
That is all...
