I just have to say that bedbugs are no laughing matter!(Mike Pesca!) They caused me so much anguish for too long. After returning from a semester abroad, I had hideous welts and a constant itchiness all over my arms and on parts of my face. I thought maybe I had scabies but a trip to the dermatologist ruled this out. He said it was flea bites, but no. After I researched this myself, I discovered I had brought home Italian bedbugs. Biting me in the middle of the night and destroying my life, I had to take apart my room throw out, wash, steam clean, call the Orkin man, spend hundreds of dollars getting my life back in order. This really is an epidemic that I STILL lose sleep over. I would never wish this upon anybody! and hope that people come to acknowledge this problem and take appropriate measures to avoid it before it effects them.
