Linkfest: Giant Beetles in the Mail

Postal workers in Mohnton, Pa., heard a curious scratching sound coming from packages labeled as toys and jellies. The noise was coming from 26 giant beetles inside. Customs officials say smugglers may have shipped the beetles in for breeding.

Just as "Moscow" is pronounced differently depending on whether it's in Russia or your native Idaho, "primer" is pronounced differently depending on the meaning of the word.

The stuff you put on the walls before the top coat of paint rhymes with "timer", while the book of elementary stuff to learn rhymes with "trimmer".
