Linkfest: Is Your Office Making You Fat?

"Culinary occasions of sin" -- that's how Boston Globe describes the offices of New England. Since I work in New York now, I'll go ahead and admit that a regular parade of snacks is by no means limited to that rocky region.

So is your office making you fat? Mine would, if I let it.

It's the Most.

Bonus: Why, why, why is "zxbfwwr" spiking on Google Trends?

A quick search for zxbfwwr hit a bunch of blogs confused about the very same question.

As was discussed, I have a feeling it is a practical joke (internet meme anyone?). You post something innane online, spread it by word of mouth (or links, in this case) and see where it goes...getting it #1 on Google probably just proves the theory that anything can become popular online.

Everyone seemed really squirrelly this morning throughout the show. Extra caffiene in the office this morning? Possibly the impending Friday?

zxbfwwr could be the handle someone posts videos. A ways down the google list if you look up that nonsensical word, you get a video site for that person's video which is a Carmen Electra s-x video. Obviously I haven't viewed it since I'm at work but, frankly, I doubt I'd watch it anyway.

I have no idea where one might ask this question...but this seems as good a place as any...esp. since y'all seem to be smart...

What is the adverb form of the word "mobile?" As in..."now that you have a cell phone, we can communicate mobily(?)"

Mobily isn't a word it seems...

@m.rawlins: What is the adverb form of the word "mobile?"

Peripatetically?

I can't say what it means, but a huge portion of the original searches that drove it up in Google Trends originated from Bryan, TX, right next to Texas A&M University: http://irl.cs.tamu.edu/ - which today coincendentally the term 'irl lab' reached the 14th ranking by mid-day.
