Linkfest: The Brooklyn Bridge Turns 125

The Brooklyn Bridge celebrated its 125th birthday last night. Producer Dan Pashman says the city had plenty of cake for everyone. He had two pieces. And he took some pictures. They're on the way.

Finally someone is shedding light on this issue. I feel a growing resentment toward boomers, they won't retire, they won't die, so you can't move up, and y'ers are coveted by the media, were stuck in the middle, like the middle child who gets no love.

We're not just coveted by the media, there's also marketing. Gen X is sandwiched between those of us younger than 25 or so, and the boomers, who outnumber them. So, nobody hires you Xers, and no one wants to sell you anything.

Which of the three is more likely to decide the next election. I'm an X'er my wife's a y . I encouraged her to register to vote and study the issues She's going to vote for Obama simply because he's Hot !
