Ugh... at least the lame end singing for this 'Rundown' was better than Mike's attention-grabbing, contrived, and annoying "cleverness" on the show Monday and Tuesday... Promise us you will never allow Korva Coleman and Mike Pesca to banter on air again after what happened earlier this week. Please? Pretty please?
By the way, hats off to Dan Pashman for continuing to bring forth unadulterated awesomeness onto the show. Not to say for a moment that you all aren't equally awesome or anything...
@Will G: "Promise us you will never allow Korva Coleman and Mike Pesca to banter on air again..."
Mike has an edgy sense of humor. I've heard his banter come off the rails more than a few times. Sometimes there are crickets. Sometimes there are gasps as with the pizza-boy/porn-film joke. More than once I thought Rachel was going to throw something at him. Tricia too after the 16th consecutive interruption of The Most, but she has a pane of glass to contend with.

I second this. More than once I have thought Dan would make a great substitute host. I have a feeling, however, that the BPP is running a little short handed right now and can't spare him. Rachel, Allison, and Laura C are all out. Mark Garrison is in the studio, but not doing news? A clue perhaps. Things are probably hopping over there.
I like it when Mike hosts the show. Banter et al. I'm just sayin'.
I'm inclined to agree - I've only been listening for a couple months so Mike is all I've known. That said, he does seem to do better when he has someone to bounce off.
Besides, his jokes are always smirk worthy and I often find myself having to stifle laughs while sitting in my cube.
in my most poetic and sportsetic voice i say....go dan...that hardy laugh and serious fact finding style should be given maximum air time and attention!!!
