Rep. Mike Castle Won't Endorse O'Donnell: Report

In case you missed it (like I did until just a few minutes ago) Rep. Mike Castle, the Delaware Republican who had hoped to be senator, is letting it be known he won't endorse Christine O'Donnell, the woman who thwarted his ambitions.

From the Wilmington News Journal:

U.S. Rep. Mike Castle will not back Christine O'Donnell in her bid for U.S. Senate after she defeated him Tuesday in the Republican primary, his campaign said this morning.

O'Donnell, who shocked many inside and outside the state by taking 53 percent of the Republican primary vote, told supporters last night that she will be offering an olive branch.

Prior to the election, Castle said he had reservations about endorsing O'Donnell because of the personal nature of some of the attacks lobbed at him during the campaign.
