Rosanne Cash, daughter of Johnny Cash, The Man In Black, isn't amused by the creaky, some might even say lame, joke Rep. John Boehner has included lately in his speeches.

As NPR's Don Gonyea and others have reported, Boehner has said:

Remember when Ronald Reagan was President? We had Bob Hope, we had Johnny Cash. Think about where we are today. We've got President Obama, but we have no hope, and we have no cash. God bless all of you.

To which Cash tweeted not so respectfully to the man thought to be the next House Speaker if Republicans win a majority today in that chamber:

John Boehner: Stop using my dad's name as a punchline, you %#&hat.

She may be saving the lawmaker from himself unless, instead of going for laughs, he was intentionally going for groans.
