The Last ScuttleButton Winner Before The Election Results Are In

OK, it's late in the afternoon, we're less than three hours before we start our big election special.  And I'm focusing on ... ScuttleButton winners???

Well, it's Tuesday, so I am.  But no time to chat.  Here were last week's buttons:

picture button of Bob Dole — the 1996 Republican presidential nominee.

Bob Barr for Congress — A Georgia Republican, he was re-elected in 1996.  He resurfaced as the Libertarian Party nominee for president in 2008.

New York's Prime Candidate/Bob Wagner — Wagner, the former three-term mayor of NYC, attempted a comeback in 1969 but lost the Democratic primary.

Barbara Jordan/Keynote Speaker, 1992 Democratic convention — The former Texas congresswoman, who played a leading role in the House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearings for President Nixon.

Ann Richards/Chair, 1992 Democratic convention — Then the governor of Texas.

And so, when you add Bob + Bob Barr + Bob + Barbara + Ann, you might end up with ...

Ba Ba Ba Ba Barbara Ann.  As sung by The Regents, and later The Beach Boys.

So many people thought they caught an error, that I was missing a "Ba" (or Bob).  They forgot to use both first and last names with Bob Barr.  The moral of the story: Never question ScuttleButton.

In any event, this week's winner, chosen completely at random, is (drum roll) ... Lisa Doege of Hanska, Minn.
