Republican Presidential Field In A Nutshell By The Economist Mag

Accompanying a recent story in The Economist headlined "Who Dares Take Him On" with the pronoun referring to President Obama, the magazine had a chart on the Republican 2012 presidential possibilities with wry and pithy assessments of each of their pros and cons.

For instance, for Mitt Romney it gives as his pros: "Rich, experienced." His cons: "Wooden, flip-flopper."

As for Tim Pawlenty his positives, according to the The Economist graphic is "No baggage." His negative: "No charisma."

Since they were describing the Republican field, they didn't provide a nutshell for the president. Based on the article, here's a try - pro: Incumbent, great campaigner; con: Economy.
