The whole world of finance is nervously, eagerly awaiting the Paulson/Congress/Bernanke plans for more fundamental reform.
This is big.
The biggest thing yet in the crisis, I'd say. This one should, I would think,
I am going to bed, though, so I am fresh at 4:30 a.m. when I wake up to talk with Morning Edition.
We will devote all of our energies to making sense of the news tonight and tomorrow and to making it clear for you.
All I can say is, I'm glad Paulson and Bernanke can set aside ideology and deal with the crisis head on. Congress needs to do likewise.
