On yesterday's podcast, we heard from someone whose credit card limit was suddenly lowered by $1,200. Today, we got this from Kristyn:

"[M]y only credit card's limit was reduced by $1,200 with no notice whatsoever.

 

"This was all the more painful because I had just made a few considerable payments in order to purchase a plane ticket to a wedding in which I am a bridesmaid taking place in South Africa in 2009.

"I had to pull money out of my already meager savings to buy the ticket.

"I called the customer service line. They told me I could request a credit increase. Not surprisingly, my request was denied."
