In conjunction with the re-release and remaster of the Jawbox album, For Your Own Special Sweetheart, the band reunited for a single performance. Yesterday, Jawbox played their song, "Savory," on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon . And, yes, I was in the audience (along with members of Trenchmouth, a band who toured with Jawbox quite often back in the day). But, no, the fact that I was in the audience is not why I'm posting this link. At least, I don't think it's why. I mean, come on! It's exciting to see a band get back together and have a good time. Plus, they really do (and did) rock. Forgot what the '90's sounded like? Here you go.
