Tonight's Friday Night Lights (8:00 p.m., NBC) concerns Coach's attempts to get new uniforms, intrateam conflict, and Tim's new career.

In honor of the very last Ghost Whisperer (8:00 p.m., CBS), which was abruptly canceled this week in something of a surprise move, we bring you one more out-of-context episode description quote: "poltergeist in the hospital." RIP, Ghost Whisperer.

The nine o'clock hour, meanwhile, brings season finales for Medium (NBC) and Kitchen Nightmares (Fox), as well as HBO's The Ricky Gervais Show.

I'm just going to tell you the title of tonight's episode of Party Down (10:00 p.m., Starz): It's called "Steve Guttenberg's Birthday." COME ON.

Saturday, there is seriously nothing happening on television. Nothing. All of television is taking a massive deep breath in preparation for Sunday.

Let me tell you about Sunday's Lost event on ABC. There will be a two-hour special from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., looking back on six seasons of the show. Then there will be a two-and-a-half-hour series finale from 9:00 p.m. to 11:30. Then later, at 12:05, there will be a Jimmy Kimmel-hosted special with the cast and with some alternate endings. It's a little bit out of hand.

But there are other things going on that night: the season finales of The Simpsons (8:00 p.m., Fox) and Family Guy (9:00 p.m., Fox), and the season finale of The Celebrity Apprentice (9:00 p.m., NBC) (which now looks like it may not feature hospitalized finalist Bret Michaels).

But mostly, Sunday night will be about Lost, so my advice? Stay off the Internet if that's going to bug you.
