If the part of The Bachelor/ette (8:00 p.m., ABC) you enjoy is watching every season as the relationships inevitably disintegrate like a tissue paper home subjected to hurricane-force winds, do not miss this evening's episode, in which Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi (united in the previous season) reveal what absolutely everyone could have predicted, which is that they were perhaps even less well suited to each other than any other couple the show has ever brought "together." They're sitting down for an interview with host Chris Harrison, who has become quite the specialist in talking to former couples who now hate each other's guts. Oh, for the days when they just broke up quietly at Starbucks.
It's the night that Bristol Palin appears as herself on an episode of ABC Family's The Secret Life Of The American Teenager (8:00 p.m.). If you don't catch it, you can expect to see it on a later installment of The Soup.
The HBO documentary No One Ever Dies In Lily Dale (9:00 p.m.) explores a town in New York that posts a large population of mediums. Media? No, mediums, as in "those who say they can communicate with the dead."
Last Comic Standing (9:00 p.m., NBC) rolls along, hosted by Craig Robinson — who, if you haven't heard, should totally take over The Office after next season.
Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations (10:00 p.m., Travel Channel) comes back for another season with an episode on "Caribbean Island Hopping."
TLC is running a marathon of Cake Boss all day, leading up to some episodes they're calling "Icing On The Cake" in the evening — they'll feature special commentary from Buddy and friends. Seriously, I never talk about Cake Boss, but it's one of those shows that's great to leave on while I'm cleaning the living room or something.
