A month ago, in the first Morning Shots I ever wrote, I reported that Amanda Bynes had tweeted her retirement. She has apparently unretiretweeted. Since Mike Love later acknowledged that he was full of patoot about the Beach Boys news I mentioned, I look forward to eventually taking back that entire post item by item.

Inception topped the weekend box office once again, but Salt came in a very strong second. So strong, in fact, that it has made half as much in one weekend as has been made in an entire month by Knight & Day, which stars Tom Cruise, who was originally supposed to play the lead... in Salt. Boy, things sure have changed when the battle of the preposterous but breezy spy films is won by the movie that lost Tom Cruise.

Pigeons expressed themselves all over the Kings Of Leon in St. Louis on Friday, causing them to cut their concert short. As a music critic myself, I can guarantee that those pigeons are now receiving emails about how they "just don't get the cool Southern fire of KoL" and that they should have sent pigeons who were fans.
