The thing you're reading about the most today, TV-wise, is probably the premiere of the tenth season of American Idol (8:00 p.m., Fox), with new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. But it's not the only thing that's on (fortunately).

Paula Abdul's Live To Dance (8:00 p.m., CBS) represents her effort to prove that there is life on American variety-competition television after Simon Cowell.

Tonight's Criminal Minds (9:00 p.m., CBS) features "blinding headaches and hallucinations." SCORE.

Meanwhile, on Modern Family (9:00 p.m., ABC), Phil and Claire find themselves in the company of their children when they least expect it.

For those of you who have as little ability to resist Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew as I often do, there's the season finale of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew (10:00 p.m., VH1). I apologize.

TV Land has had surprising success with Hot In Cleveland (10:00 p.m.), so if you've been waiting for months for your Betty White fix, the time has come for you to get it. And if you do enjoy that particular half-hour sitcom featuring a retiree, you'll undoubtedly want to stay tuned for Retired At 35, TV Land's new sitcom featuring George Segal and Jessica "Arrested Development" Walter.

And what night is it on Top Chef (10:00 p.m., Bravo)? It's Restaurant Wars, WOOOO!
