Morning Shots: 'Hunger Games' Footage And 'True Blood' Fashions

Delayed by current events, here's today's roundup.

I frankly found the Hunger Games teaser from MTV so inconsequential that there's almost no point in seeing it if you've seen the photos of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, but here it is, anyway.

The Fug Girls are always worth reading, and today, they've got a slideshow on the fashion sense of various True Blood characters.

The New York Times has some thoughts about the Current TV list of "50 Documentaries To See Before You Die."

Are literary prizes purely a matter of taste, or is there something more objective to the judging? One former judge says a prize can very well be awarded on a basis other than personal tastes, because judgments and tastes are entirely different.
