Clinton Campaign Picks Winning Song

In a contest that attracted quite a bit of attention, Hillary Clinton's campaign has picked its song from the thousands of suggestions that poured in. And the winner is ... Celine Dion's "You and I."

OK, it's cool that she picked a song by a Canadian, but why not k.d. lang or Nelly Furtado if you want something by a Canuck chanteuse?

But forget the song ... We'll be hearing it so much in the next few months, we'll want to strangle Celine by the time of the first primary. What you really want to see is the little clip that Hillary and Bill Clinton made to introduce the song winner -- with its references to the final episode of "The Sopranos." Again, it made me laugh. Not bad for a politician.

This maybe cool for Soprano fans, but it is EMPTY and MEANINGLESS for those few of us who don't spend their life in front of the TV.

This is such a sad commentary on the "culture" of America. You want to be President Hilary, raise the level of the public consciousness. Talk about your plans for reinstating habeus corpus, talk about your plans to stop the government
from eavesdropping without a court order, talk about your plans for reforming campaign financing, talk about your plans to stop global warming, and talk about your plans for reducing our debt. These are but a few of the crucial issues facing our nation today. The media does its job of dumbing down what they consider news. We don't need another President whose campaign message belongs on the front page of the New York Post.

Hillary is a dangerous idiot who will destroy this nation if elected.

Too bad she has hitched her name to an otherwise good song that I cannot wait to never hear again.
