Ron Paul's Blimp May be Grounded by Weather

Lots of his supporters see Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul as a kind of political superman. So, in a way, it's not surprising that he has decided to take to the skies ... so to speak. Paul supporters plan to use a blimp to bring his brand to lots of people over the next few weeks. (Although the bad weather forecast for Boston this weekend may ground a scheduled appearance by Air Paul.)

NPR's Robert Smith has the whole story over at the Bryant Park Project.

Just wanted to let you know that Ron Paul has "planned" none of this. It is being done solely by a group of his supporters. I guess it's hard for mainstream commentators to get their minds around the idea that this is a decentralized campaign with real supporters that are very energized.

Thank you for correcting the story.

...also, thank you for carrying the story in the first place.

Totally 100% independent of the main campaign for Ron Paul. Please clarify in your article.

LiberyMark, I was about to post the same thing. I really don't know what is so confusing about it... but that seems to be one of the hardest things for people to grasp...the idea that we don't wait for Ron Paul to give us direction. We toss around ideas, come up with a plan, and ACT on it! Novel concept.

Ron Paul definitely seems to be the most well spoken candidate. I wish more of them would stop talking junk and address policy and issues from a reasonable standpoint, the way Ron Paul does.

Definitely seems to be the candidate of choice for most young people.
