Democrats Outspend Republicans in Past Two Weeks

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama outspent their Republican counterparts on TV advertising by a 3-to-1 margin during the past two weeks in the run-up to Super Tuesday.

Clinton and Obama spent almost $21 million, while Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have spent slightly more than $6.3 million since Jan. 21. McCain and Romney spent most of the GOP total. The new spending totals were compiled by TNS Media Intelligence/CMAG.

Obama is leading all candidates in TV spending with $31 million. Romney is next with $30 million and then Clinton with $24.6 million.

Spend spend spend...does the price tag on the quest to office make the candidate?

Perhaps if the persons bold enough to pursue elected office helped the rest of the population to say "America Needs Me" then perhaps we could see an upswing in altruistic actions that benefit our nation.

in fact, www.americaneedsme.com
is a good starting point.
