McCain Courts Top Conservatives at New Orleans Meeting

In his debut appearence before the nation's top conservatives since becoming the Republican standard bearer in the 2008 presidential election. Sen. John McCain will address the Council for National Policy's annual winter meeting in New Orleans today.

The Washington Times reports that the council is comprised of the "conservative movement's top donors and leaders." McCain has turned down invitations to address the group in the past but accepted an invitation about two weeks ago for this year's meeting.

"This is the most distinguished collection of conservative leaders and donors, and he was anxious to appear as part of his ongoing effort to consolidate support for his candidacy within the conservative movement," said Charlie Black, Mr. McCain's campaign adviser. "Many conservative leaders did not support him, but he is a proud conservative Republican who thinks he can earn their support in the general election."

This is not a meeting of a group of Conservatives, it a meeting of the most extreme Ring Wing in the US.

I don't know which is worse, quoting Rev. Moon's Washington Times, a discredited Right Wing propaganda mill, or NPR portraying a collection of Right Wing extremist as main stream conservatives.

When did opposing equal rights for minorities and women, along with advocating a theocracy (among other extreme positions) become main stream?

How dishonest and gutless, can NPR get?

Sent by Ron Gordon: How dishonest and gutless, can NPR get?

Ya know, I get a kick out of comments like these. I sure do see a lot of this ilk in these here blogs.

What I've noticed is that the more Air America Radio goes belly up, the more the Liberal Utopians come to NPR looking for a place to vent their extreme leftist views.

Now, this is kind of funny for me to be saying. Being that I've been a Liberal Democrat all my life. Vietnam and all that. Since Michael Moore's film, Liberals have become Liberal Utopians. That's a whole other class of leftist philosophy that has left me in the cold.

Far left Liberal Utopians are infamous for finding instant Robin Hood Revoluationary leaders to blindly follow. Only to be extremely disappointed later on. Two such cases are Fidel Castro and Idi Amin. There's a whole passel of similar stories that have happened in countries like Nicaragua and Burma and so forth.

Liberal Utopians become so bent on finding something they call change that they end up walking off the edge of cliffs into a deep abyss. This is happening righ there in America. Liberal Utopians can't seem to get the public broadcasting networks to go far left far enough to make them even remotely happy.

Well, Liberal Utopian Democrats don't like moderates. They don't like conservatives. And they don't like each other.

The Liberal Utopian model of rule is mob rule.
