Parodies of Clinton Ad Blossom on YouTube

This is one reason why the 2008 presidential campaign is so much more interesting than past efforts. New media means no good deed (or clever commercial) goes unpunished.

Take Hillary Clinton's now famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view) "Children" commercial, with the deep-voiced narrator warning that a vote for Barack Obama means the right person would not be in the White House to answer the phone when it rang at 3 a.m. during a world crisis. Within mere days a whole variety of parodies have sprung up on YouTube.

We offer for your consideration the following:

And this:

One more:

There were numerous other parodies that involve suggestions about the activities of former President Bill Clinton at 3 a.m., but this is a family blog.

It's true, Adam West's experience as Mayor of Quahog makes me confident that he will make the right choice when that phone rings at 3 am.

Batman and Jack Bauer... THAT would be a ticket! Bruce Wayne could finance the whole thing and Bauer could make sure they get all their campaigning done in 24 hours!

Is there any way we can revive David Palmer? At least Bruce Wayne would be a legitimate, clean-record coffer.
Jack as a VP would make Cheney's shotgun antics look like he was running around with a Red Ryder Carbon Action 200 shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time.
