I must say, it was a pleasure for me to hear about the Black Weblog Awards on News and Notes! We're busy gearing up for our third year of the Awards, which go through the beginning of August through early September. We're also looking for judges for this year if either you, Mario or Gary are interested.

I should also note that there are also the Black Web Awards run out of Baltimore, MD and the South African Weblog Awards. There's definitely more out there than the Webbys when it comes to recognizing African-Americans in the blogosphere!
